Lexi Jones aka 4StoriesUp, is an artist, social worker, wife, and stepmother of three from Palmyra, Virginia. The artwork she creates focuses on using discarded materials and giving them new life. Lexi creates mixed media collages using vintage vinyl record covers, up-cycles cigar boxes and makes found materials into art.4StoriesUp began with a love of making ugly things beautiful. It started with elaborate birthday cards for friends and family, creative storage for her own household and a way to give practical gifts that had meaning. Lexi received a Master of Social Work from Temple University in Philadelphia in 2010 and works full time as a social worker. Her free time is spent cutting out images, painting layers of color, and waiting for glue to dry.
